鹿港 Lugang

A couple of weeks ago, I went to 鹿港 (Lugang)
with my friends Gloria, Vivian, and Yen.

This is a diet bowl (no joke, that's what it's called)...you're
sure to lose weight if you eat every meal from this tiny thing! :)
We stopped by to see the fan man! Mr. Chen is famous for his hand painted creations- he has been making fans since he was 16. I bought some from him last time I was in Taiwan, and will probably buy more. He's so sweet.

This is my Chinese name. (Mr. Chen wanted me to sign his book, so Gloria wrote my Chinese name and I wrote my English name after it.) The first character is my last name, and the second two are my first.

We did tour the city a bit (I had been there before), but Yen's from Taipei and it was his first time to 鹿港. So he wanted to try a bunch of traditional food in 鹿港. So it was really more of a food tour than anything else. Mmm mmm.
